Summer Destination: French Riviera
Buzzy restaurants, showy boutiques, elegant, tree-lined boulevards and the clear pastel waters along the coast, everything about the place gives off cool-girl vibes. The French Riviera (or Côte d’Azur) has been my favorite glamorous destination for years, so it’s no wonder it was the creative inspiration behind my newest summer collection. If you find yourself planning a jaunt to the sun-soaked Riviera, here’s three of my bucket list recommendations for what you must see and do while there.
St. Tropez via Entouriste
1. St. Tropez – My love for St. Tropez runs deep. The sleepy beach village became the destination after Bridget Bardot made it famous in the 1950’s.
Stay – Hotel Byblos to be steps from the best shopping, restaurants and nightlife.
Dine – Club 55 for a beach day and dine! Don’t forget a Tropézienne for dessert.
Do – The open-air market on Tuesdays and Saturday mornings for fresh food, antiques, and vintage clothes.
Monte Carlo via Leveragere
2. Monte Carlo – It’s Bond, James Bond….the international jet set capitol of the world is not to be missed.
Stay – Hotel de Paris Monte Carlo - THE iconic palatial hotel with wedding cake architecture in the heart of the city is not to be missed.
Dine – Buddha Bar for dinner with a cool nightclub vibe (it’s the music for me)
Do – Hit the Casino de Monte Carlo and live out your Bond fantasy!
Le Mas du Langoustier via Hyéres Tourist
3. Porquerolles Island – Gorgeous island a ten minute boatride from land. It’s got secluded sandy beaches, lush landscapes and hiking trails.
Stay – Le Mas du Langoustier – one of the only hotels on the small island.
Dine – L'Olivier – beautiful outdoor terrace with a Michelin star.
Do – Fondation Carmignac - this contemporary art collection and sculpture garden is a must.
